Itinerary

Pickup from Arusha to Tarangire national park, followed by day game drive in the park. Tarangire NP is the only park in northern Tanzania where you can view many baobab trees, these trees are known to live thousands of years. This park is home to a large number of African Elephants. Tarangire has more than 550 species of birds, it is the best place for bird watchers. During the dry season you expect to see large herds of Zebras/wildebeest around the river which is the only reliable source of water during the dry season, not to mention other animals like; cape buffalo, waterbuck, Oryx, greater kudu, Elland, Giraffe, Impala, Dik-dik, gazelle, and predators like; lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, hyena, honey badger e.t.c. The park is also surrounded by beautiful landscape to the south and amazing termite mounds to the north of the park. After game drive then drive to Nsya lodge for dinner and overnight.

Depart to the Lake Manyara National Park for day game drive around the Lake’s shores.

Manyara national park is situated to the north of Tanzania, to the steep western wall of the rift valley, Manyara is home for underground water forest which makes it green all year around, it is also part of a world biosphere reserve with an area of 325 kilometers square. The Park is renowned for its tree-climbing lions, olive baboons, herds of elephants, buffaloes, Zebras, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Hippos, klipspringer not to mention more than 450 species of birds including flocks of flamingos and stocks that can be found in this park.

The name Serengeti is derived from the Maasai word *Siringeti* which means endless plains. This is because of the seemingly endless southern grassy plains with a concentration of wildebeest and zebra during migration, it is a leading African national park that has been voted by the World Travel Awards (WTA), this park is famous and one of the largest national parks in Tanzania with an area of 14. Covering 763 square kilometers, Serengeti is home to an abundance of wildlife and is one of the few parks where you can spot the Big 5 and many carnivores as well as birds of prey.

Cup of Coffee or tea for Wake call then perform early morning game drive, back to the camp for brunch, packing then proceed with safari game drive in Serengeti national park till noon, depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight at Rhino lodge FB.

Ngorongoro is a multiple land use area where the Maasai people, who are pastoralists, share the same ecosystem with wild animals. The area is part of the Serengeti ecosystem to the north and to the northwest is the Ndutu area where, between December and April, is the best time to see calving wildebeest and zebra.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest unbroken, unflooded caldera, the main attraction of Ngorongoro is the crater which was formed after a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself and formed a caldera. The caldera is the best place to see many antelopes and the Big 5 up close, but this depends on the season.

After early breakfast we will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a half day's safari tour. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot.

We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. After lunch we will start ascending from the crater and go straight to Airport.
