Itinerary Overview:

• Day 0: Arrival in Tanzania
  Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer to your hotel in Moshi. In the evening, meet your guide and group members for a pre-trek briefing and final equipment check.
• Day 1: Machame Gate (1800m) – Machame Camp (3000m)
  After breakfast, you will drive from Moshi to Machame Gate, where you will begin your trek. Hike through lush rainforest to reach Machame Camp, your first overnight stop.
• Day 2: Machame Camp (3000m) – Shira Camp (3840m)
  Climb steeply out of the forest and into the moorland zone. You’ll ascend to Shira Camp, where you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of Mount Meru in the distance.
• Day 3: Shira Camp (3840m) – Barranco Camp (3950m)
  Continue your trek, crossing the Lava Tower (4600m) for acclimatization before descending to Barranco Camp. This is a great day for acclimatizing as you hike high and sleep low.
• Day 4: Barranco Camp (3950m) – Barafu Camp (4640m)
  Tackle the challenging Barranco Wall, then trek through the alpine desert to Barafu Camp. Here, you’ll rest and prepare for your summit attempt later that night.
• Day 5: Summit Day – Barafu Camp (4640m) – Uhuru Peak (5895m) – Mweka Camp (3100m)
  Start your summit push just after midnight. Reach Uhuru Peak at sunrise, the highest point in Africa. After celebrating, descend to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest.
• Day 6: Mweka Camp (3100m) – Mweka Gate (1640m)
  Complete your descent through the rainforest to Mweka Gate. Receive your summit certificate and celebrate your achievement before heading back to Moshi.
