Kilimanjaro-Guides & Porters

They are all Tanzanian and have many years of experience in the bush. They are highly trained professionals, friendly people and great linguists. They all speak perfect English and we have guides that speak other foreign language too, so please let us know if you have a specific linguistic requirement and we will make sure you are catered for. Our guides are passionate about the bush and nothing pleases them more than seeing you go home happy and full of great stories.

PRIVATE VEHICLES: If you are doing a driving itinerary in Tanzania then you will benefit from your own private vehicle and driver/guide – this means you will be able to decide (with your guide's advice) what time you depart camp each morning and how long you want to be on safari for each day. Private vehicles have closed sides but a pop up roof, so you can stand and get a 360°view while on safari.

SHARED VEHICLES:  If you fly in to a camp or lodge then generally you will do your game drives in a shared vehicle with other guests (normally a maximum of 7, but often less), and therefore will have set departure times for your safaris each day. These vehicles have open sides for optimum game viewing and photographic opportunities.
